I'm washing off the scent of you
It clings to me like poison
I'm drowning out the sound of you
With all this senseless noise

To think I used to hate this place
But nowhere do I see your face
And so I drown my ears and eyes
To keep your name off of my mind

Named for the desire to separate and dissociate myself from the thought of him. Everything I see, hear, smell, taste, feel reminds me of him, and I don't want that.
