The bad thing about falling to pieces, is that it hurts. The good thing, is that once we are lying there in shards we've got no reason to be anything but honest.

Lost in the moment, stuck in time.
No more games I’m just fine.
The world is going round and round
Doesn’t matter were all hell bound
Crying doesn’t get you anywhere.
Life sucks and it’s not fair.

(Chorus)
Why do we hurt people? Why do we hurt ourselves?
Inner emotions locked away on the top shelves.
We can’t reach them, Even if we try.
Might as well just kiss them all goodbye.

Everything is just a game.
No ones wild no ones tame.
We can’t have it our own way
The people we want won’t stay.
So use it all. Throw it away.
Life is just a disarray
Mock me. Hurt me. Try and be me.
I wont stumble, I wont fall
Nothing changes but our mind.
Go ahead leave me behind.
That thing that’s ripping it’s my heart.
It’s ok. I’ll just restart.
Understand it. Or just ruin it. Own it, break it.
Please don’t fake it.

(Chorus)
Why do we hurt people? Why do we hurt ourselves?
Inner emotions locked away on the top shelves.
We can’t reach them, Even if we try.
Might as well just kiss them all goodbye.

Be you, be another, be a stranger. But I wont buy it.
Cries, and whines, throws a fit.
Stomps his feet, the wall he hits.
BE angry, be furious, be the fury.
Please just hurry.
You’re an understatement, your unnatural, your just you.
Something’s are just what you do.
Just answer my questions.

(Chorus)
Why do we hurt people? Why do we hurt ourselves?
Inner emotions locked away on the top shelves.
We can’t reach them, Even if we try.
Might as well just kiss them all goodbye.

THis was kind of a teen angst rebellion piece. i was mad at a boy for hurting me, and I wrote this about him. It's kind of an abstract song I think.
