Fountain of the souls that fell

When his blood reaches the ground
The concrete cries
And then it drowns

The mother’s tears soak up the sky
The heavens watch
The angels die

The poor seep into their cracks
Affording bills
And heart attacks

Their drugs and alcohol intoxicate
Failure and low-life become their fate

The splattered blood, the men who die
The simple question of have you lied

Though why should we even care
When are soul’s are confined by dark despair

My heart turns black, the sky turns gray
Through my eyes it’s a beautiful day

The fountain of the souls that fell
That tastes so sweet, but hurts like hell.
