His smile is the sunshine
His smile is a golden ray
His smile is a circle of heaven
Warmth on a cold day

It makes his perfect eyes shine
It’s like a candle flame
It’s something you can stare at
A bright heart it contains

I don’t know how to describe it
It’s that warm and fuzzy feeling
It’s a tingle through your fingertips
It’s the glances you’ve been stealing

His smile is the sunshine
But this you already know
Of course his laugh will be the rain
So together it’s a rainbow

I really like the ending especially! "His smile is the sunshine/But this you already know/Of course his laugh will be the rain/So together it's a rainbow"

Love it love it love it!

I was actually wondering where the rainbow part came in, and I like what you did with the last stanza relating the sun and rain and rainbows. My mind doesn't go down that path, I was kind of expecting colors, but I like the way that you did it better :D

Keep writing!

Random poems are the best kind of poems! You've captured really disticnt feeligns and the fact that it's random, as in, it was just a moments burst of inspiration, adds all the more meaning to it! :)

YES OMG! Simon Cowel feedback--you asked for it!

Oh please, how am I supposed to be able to do my worst to this poem? It melted my calloused heart (my ex girlfriend and her friends tell me that I'm a bleepedy bleep bleep bleeep without a heart)

What I liked about this thing was that it rhymed. I can't stand poems that don't rhyme lol. I also liked that it was short.

What I absolutely loved about this (and I'm going to sound REALLY sappy) is that I can tell that it's from the heart. It's like a simple, happy little poem that is, in fact, cute. There. I said it. "Cute." (Isn't it illegal for guys to say cute? lol)

I mean there's nothing bad I can really say about this poem--like I might say that the writing of it could mature a little bit but it's "cute" because it's simple and just sweet.

And to be honest, if I had a gf that wrote me a poem like this, my heart would melt like no other. I'd probably try to hide it like any guy would, but it would still happen. This isn't going to be like compared to the so-called "great poets" like Emily Dickinson and Walt Whitman or whatever, but it sure as heck is one of the sweetest poems in the history of poemkind! Great job. I really liked it :)

A picture is worth a thousand words, however it takes a real artist to turn words into pictures.

Have you heard about the new Lebron Iphone, you have to set it on vibrate because it doesn't have any rings
