There's so much pain inside this teen,
sometimes life can be so mean.
Eighth grade girl tryin to get through life,
pushed around by her dad every night.

This girl is beautiful, but she didn't know it.
She hurt so much, but she never shows it.
She's a quiet one with no friends. She's broken inside down to the end, because hearts always break never just bend.

The pain got worse and the bruses got bigger.
Never fought back 'cause she knew better.
Fights getting worse as the days rolled by.
She wished it was a dream; she hated this life.
She wanted to get out but she did not dare.
She was scared for herself so she stayed there.

This girl is beautiful but she doesn't know it.
She hurts so much, but she never shows it.
She's a quiet one with no friends.
She's broken inside down to the end, because hearts always break never just bend.

A few days later the cops were called,
they said she took a pretty hard fall.
He tried to explain but they did not listen,
now he spends his life in prison.
How could he do this to his baby girl, the reason he lived, his whole world.

This girl was beautiful, but she didn't know it.
She hurt so much, too scared to show it.
She was a quiet one with no friends.
She's broken inside down to the end, because hearts always break never just bend.

Sometimes life can be so mean.
That innocent girl, only thirteen.
Her life was taken way too soon, because there was nothing that she could do.

Many people think there lives are hard just because they cant get something that they want. Most of them have no idea what a hard life is. I want this song to open readers eyes to the real world.
