Favorite Quote:
Love makes fools of even the wisest of men. Therefore, I am wise, that I was a fool to begin with.

Love’s Fool

V1:
Pour, pour it out
Let it fall
Till you hear
The familiar call
Love, Love can make you
Delusional and blind
Reputable and lost
And also Forgot

Hook:
So let the thunder come
Let the lightning strike
Because as much as I try
I always die
At the end
Maybe I’m
Just not fit for it
And yet still I long
To know
What is this
That makes me
Into Love’s Fool
And Hope’s Lunatic?

V2:
Climb, climb right on
Keep the fight up
Because there are those
Who would kill
To see you
Knocked off of your standing place
Because they just can’t stand
That they aren’t there

Repeat Hook

Bridge:
And maybe this time
Maybe this time things will
Be different
But prolly they won’t
They probably won’t
But I’ll chance it
And I’ll keep right On
I’ll keep right on
And Say

Let the thunder come
Let the lightning strike
Because as much as I try
I always die
At the end
Maybe I’m
Just not fit for it
And yet still I long
To know
What is this
That makes me
Into Love’s Fool
And Hope’s Lunatic?

This poem was typed up in five minutes on June the first of 2009, and I wrote it because my then boyfriend had broken up with me and I had this rush of emotions and needed to get it all down on paper before it exploded out of me so I went to the library got on a computer and wrote this poem five minutes before school started.
