"The worst crime is faking it." -Kurt Cobain

I’ve noticed your face always turned to mine.

So I’m begging you, just give me a sign.

No need for words, we’ll converse without,

why is it your eyes are seeking me out?

Would you like sonnets in your name?

Do you want someone to play your games?

Tell me what’s the nature of your aims?

Is it love or lust that you feel for me?

Or is it something just in between?

Are you going to sit and watch me plea?

‘Cause now I’m down on my knees.

What is it that you want from me?

If I shed my unfeeling disguise,

could I see truth in your haunting eyes?

Or do you want me to feed you lies?

Would you like someone to idolize?

If it’s my heart that you seek,

know I’ll never be that weak.

And if you do find yourself feeling,

it’s your heart you should be concealing.

Would you like sonnets in your name?

Do you want someone to play your games?

Tell me what’s the nature of your aims?

Is it love or lust that you feel for me?

Or is it something just in between?

Are you going to sit and watch me plea?

‘Cause now I’m down on my knees

What is it that you want from me?

I don’t need a savior if that’s what you’re thinking.

Yeah, I will never be yours to free.

Look into my eyes, you’ll see that they’re unblinking,

no one could hope to liberate me

Answer now so I don’t misconceive.

Speak now or watch me take my leave.

I’m asking with my heart on my sleeve,

what is it that you want from me?

These lyrics were written about a boy who I always found watching me, but who never actually approached me or talked to me.
