Who am I you ask?
Who am I indeed
For I am the night
And you are my steed.
Dash away through my midst
My shadows find you still
Starlit reflections of my armor
Reaching in for the kill.
Dance away through the woods
From my grip you can't escape
My huntsmen and I lurk
In your heart's deepest landscape.
Try to hide my dear sweet
It will only do you ill
I hold your heart in my hands
And will bend you to my will.
