Am I pretty like her?
I ask myself that question
Everytime I see a mirror.

Can I be everything she is?
But I already know the answer,
How could anyone love this?

She can sing, I can squawk.
She prances so perfectly in the halls,
And I lumber when I walk.

My eyes are faded brown, hers are pretty blue.
She beams with confidence and smiles,
While my heart has been ripped in two.

Everytime I see a mirror,
I ask myself a question.
Could I ever be pretty like her?

i feel like this every day looking in the mirror and knowing you cant change what you are it hurts deep inside . i can relate to this very much

This is really good and sounds like how i use to be, always comparing myself to other girls, my friends. Thinking that boys could ever like me because i was too lame and ugly. But now i feel pretty n great n almost kool. N im shure u will one day tooo....
