Reds and threats
That's what she got

They say why you chillin with a black person
She says what's wrong with that
They say why you replace me with  a black man
She says what's wrong that

They never seem to be able to give valid reasons
Except for they hood and will stab you in the back

She says the world is evolving
She thinks it's time to change the emotions
Time to change the seasons

Blacks and blues
That's what she got
Dating the wrong person can cause you pain

But they say without pain there's no gain
So in a way she can thank her ex for bringing out the true colors

But wait what are her true colors?
The blacks and blues? Or the reds and threats?
Was it a blessing or a curse?

That the almighty God gave her. the person she had gave her those blacks and blues on her skin
Yes, the ones she covered up with an excuse of dance or make up
 
Then 8 months of abuse she decided that she had enough. She told him to get outta her life and it was time to break up,

But before he let her go he just had to put one more mark on her one that she couldn't get rid of so easily.
The fact that not only did he have the balls to abuse her physically but also mentally.

He told her. She had no place on this earth, she should just run away and go kill myself, and that she was a mistake and she should've never been created.

After that relationship
She gave up on love
Saying f*** this s***
If pain is all she was gonna get.

That's all she got
She began to have Everyone lookin down at her and shes always lookin up to them

Except one person
That one turned out to be her best friend from the very beginning
One that hid away and stayed till the ending

Now that he's here she's no longer closed off because of him she's  no longer alone because of him she's no longer looking up to someone

Because of him she has a future
Because of him she's still alive and breathing
Because of him her thick walls are coming down

Because of him she has no worries
Because of him she has a safe place
And because of him she's truly in love once again.
