ANXIETY
Hey there Anxiety,
You seem to be very selfless, always spending your time being the nosy parker,
Let’s not forget the way you browbeat me to your slanted opinions, selfless indeed,
You try being Sherlock Holmes but become Sherlock Blames
It’s like the myth of Phoenix came true,
You are so full of fire and energy, burning down everything everywhere you move, graceful indeed,
I know you are too abnegated, which bounds you to make me feel like a cloud on the horizon,
You raise your voice every time I rustle my chains,
But I forget that I ‘am in control of my car radio and I can change the music or tone it down
You are a tangle of illusions set to trap me,
But since where there is a will there is a way,
I have found my way too,
Breathe in and breathe out,
Through meditation and pranayama,
I found an exit door for you, your welcome by the way
You have taught me one important lesson,
No one can be my worst or best friend than myself,
I can either let my clipped wings be as it is or set them free,
I can either gaze at the stars from my bedroom window,
Or dip my soul in the heart of constellations naming one of my own.
