Grief Comes In Waves & Tonight I'm Drowning

I lose my breath
as the current drags me under.
Sweeping me off my feet,
tossing me into a sea of despair.
Lost in the darkness of the abyss,
no one can hear my sorrows.
I have created this ocean
with my own eyes.
And you were taken
before you could teach me
how to swim.
