She’s the birth of your cousin, the death of your great-aunt
With her comes love and life,
Loss and longing.
She’s always been there.
She’s a friend, a constant presence in your life
Always there, Always with you
She’s your mom’s friends who you’ve constantly known
She’s been there for as long as you can remember
Through new growth and constant change
Before us and after us, until the end of time she will be
We can not stop for her
Therefore she will not stop for me
