Orange, the color of Georgetown
The warm sun hitting your skin as you enjoy homemade ice cream

Orange, the feeling of my  backyard in the summer
The way the sun kisses your skin and leaves it darker than before

Orange, like waking up early when the sun is shining through your window
Creating an orange-gold tint that surrounds your room with a rich amber glow

Orange, like swimming in the ocean from the soft sandy shore
The water pushing the ticklish sand through your toes

Orange, taste like frozen lemonade on warm summer days
The bittersweet taste giving off a refreshing feeling

Orange, looks like sunrises (not sunsets)
The sky looks as if an artist dropped his palette, the colors to swirl together

Orange, the aroma of lemon cake being baked
The bitter yet sweet smell filling the kitchen

Orange, the feeling of being calm
Relaxation filling your veins

I have a type of synthesia and my teacher encouraged me to write something about a color.
