To Be A Teen
Sometimes I feel like the pressure is pushing down
  Trapping me into a corner
A corner where I’m forced to be the best, better than the rest
To commit to a school before the girl standing next to me
To get one point higher then the boy in the seat to the right
To compete for awards and recognition that will one day mean nothing
But in the now they mean making or breaking your future
Having to watch what you post online as one wrong click could mean the end
Ruining your “reputation” with a mistake that only others may see as a mistake
Sometimes being a teenager is like being on house arrest
The constant knowing where you are and the reminder of the past
Being hovered over to make sure you do no wrong
And if you do you face the consequence, just like being a teen

I was inspired by the things going on in my own life. What I had heard from people and seen lately. I hope people will be able to relate to this and know that there areothers out there who experience the same things as them.
