The contents behind the rusted black bars
Consisted of feelings of love, happiness, and a glimmer of worry
The rusted black bars separated the harsh outside world
From the innocent residents inside
The rusted black bars were often found to be a playground
To a young curly headed trouble maker
They were attached to a very small house
Smaller than a classroom of the school he attended
He grew up and moved away from this house and all his family
But for reasons unknown to him all he could remember
Were the rusted black bars
