Behind The Curtain

If you know me
You know my reality
I break down
And there’s no fixing me
When it’s just me,
I’m a mess
When I’m around others,
There’s “no distress”
I am definitely
The definition of
“Insecurity”
This is what hides behind the curtain
And it’s not pretty, that’s for certain
So here I am, exposing myself to you
I have said what needs to be said, and now I’m through.
