Tentacles trailing behind it
Leaving a plume of thick dark ink
Escaping from predators without a sound
Making itself shrink into the smallest crevices
Poisoning its enemies before having a sweet snack
An array of colors to the eye
Sucking down meals with its suckers
A predator wants that meal from it
But all the octopus has to do…
Is inconspicuously escape in a plume of thick dark ink
