One Seven-billionth

I am going to tell someone about my depression someday
But right now I will not
I cannot get over the fear that the
person I confess to will say
directly back to me
That they are depressed too.
I am depressed for this very reason;
We all go through the same things.
Millions of people and billions of dead people
Have gone through the same life as me
And billions will follow.
What's the purpose of me fighting this?
There are so many people in this world
So many.
