As I pour the tea from the plastic quart.
I smell the warm sweet peachy scent that greets me.
The tea covers the ice and the cooling cubes rises.
I hear the ice pop, and see the cracks appearing in the ice, I know
the ice will slowly disappear in the future.
I sip the tea knowing it overflows
me with happiness.
I sip the tea
knowing  it cannot last,
Until I refill my glass.
