Have you ever wondered,
What it would feel like
To jump off a cliff
With no one in sight
Gliding through the air
With nothing holding you back,
But just a little weight
From the chute on your back
The weightless feeling of flight
In control of your life,
With nothing but cloth
To keep you alive
Falling towards earth
With great speed,
Looking at the ground
And hoping you don’t become a seed
Then finally pulling the cord
And drifting ever so slowly,
to the final destination,
the lonely ground

i wrote this after experiencing jumping for the first time. it was something that i have wanted to do as a kid and has been a thrill to experience.
