Snow Ash
I look outside and see it falling down.
It looks as though the sky is falling in tiny flakes of white ash.
As if the sky was on fire somewhere,
and the debris flew all the way here to land.
The trees are covered in it
The ground is blanketed in pristine, white
So calm and quiet and peaceful
The only disturbance is the small line of footprints,
made by a small bunny hopping along or a tiny dog hunting for food.
How beautiful.
