Driving up the mountains, feeling the air temperature drop
Gazing into the deep dark woods a head.
Feeling your body tingle of excitement
Springing out of the car with a rush of elation
Running to the edge, while rain drizzled through my hair
Peeking over, feeling my heart fill with delight.
Strolling through the narrow musky trails,
Stopping to admire the deep red canyon.
Getting lost in its magnificent gaping views.
