And So The End Comes
The sky has begun to fall,
All have gone to seek shelter,
But there will be no survivors.
The entire town is deserted,
Not even the spirits wish to linger,
And so the end comes.
The wind of demise is howling,
The lone wind chimes ring,
The leaves of the single tree rustle,
Though in all the noise,
All seems silent,
And so the end comes.
However, in all the shadow
There is a single light
In a midnight marriage
All worries wash away
The bride and groom shall wait,
Hoping to greet the morning together,
But it will never come.
So here I stand
Alone in the looming shadow of death
Watching, waiting
And so the end comes
