Where I'm from poem
I’m from basketball and going to the park.
I’m from home cooking that always tasted different but good.
My favorite being able to always have something to do outside.
I am from early mornings, birds chirping, and good breakfast.
I am from living with my Mom and Dad and our descendents here and gone.
From “Two wrongs don’t make a right” and “Don’t expect what you didn’t work for.”
I am from good expectations, discipline, and treating others with respect.
From all the times my grandpa let me ride with him on his motorcycle.
I am from all of these things.
That began, where I’m from.

I wrote this poem as a classroom assignment, and I decided to write my poem on the topic of Where I'm from because it lets you know me personally even if you don't know me.
