Owner of the Night
As the sun sinks,
And the moon rises.
As the stars appear,
In the night sky.
As the day retreats,
And the night awakes.
Out comes one,
Of the wisest animals of the night.
It rises up and takes flight,
Gliding silently above the world.
An owl, the owner of the night,
Flying fearlessly above the earth.
The owl cares for its,
Family and hunts only to,
Feed his family.
The owl, owner of the night.

I did this poem as a project for school. I chose to make this for my Grammy because I feel that if she was to die and become an animal then she would become an owl. I hope to change how people think about nature.
