All About Jesus
Christmas is the time of the year
Where all the children scream with cheer
Where children want gifts under the tree
While the holiday’s main idea they cannot see
There is no need for new toys
When Jesus fills our hearts with joy
Green and red christmas lights
Will never compare to Jesus’s sacrifice
Children smile, laugh, and sing
Forgetting that our Father died for everything
Presents from Santa with a beard as white as snow
Will never amount to the love that Jesus Christ will show
Christmas is not a season all about receiving
But a time of remembrance and giving
Instead of dwelling on ourselves
We need to give to others like Santa’s elves
If it was not for the birth of Christ
We would not possess eternal life
Overall this Christmas cheer is for our King
Not for the things that Santa brings
