Only dad I knew
The bottle in your hand
Poison in your veins
Only two years old
Screaming your name
“When’s Daddy coming home?”
Little did I know you would never come home
You never said goodbye
You were missing for two weeks
In that moment
I realized I lost the only dad I knew

I wrote this poem because I lost my dad when I was two years old. He was an alcoholic, a pretty bad one if I must say. Everything that is in this poem is about everything that happened, with him and his death.
