i changed for 180 days
trying to be someone
Different
for 180 days i
straightened my hair
wore makeup
and changed to be accepted

180 days of finding myself
Again
Who do I want to be?
left my curls alone
shelved the time consuming makeup
and found out
I don’t care what they think of me.

I am perfect
well my own definition of it
Who cares?
they don’t know you
forget them
their loss
Not yours
