Maybe if I stand under the water
long enough my thoughts will go away,
Maybe if I never move,
this warm feeling will stay
Because when I step out that cold feeling returns,
Because when I leave images of you
Flood back to scald me like burns
Images invade my mind,
Bringing my tears in streams,
You’re a reminder of my broken heart and my broken dreams
