On one special day, an artist was born
I’ve been drawing ever since i was four
So excited about drawing, I couldn’t wait to hit the door
By the age of 5, my grandmother payed for me to have a private tutor
When it came to art, he taught me everything I know
And through the years, he watched my talent grow
In second grade ,I amongst others were entered in an art contest
My art teachers always boasted as if I were better than the rest
When i got the results back , it said that I won!

But I would have been ok if I didn’t, because at least I had fun
I had won my first art contest and my family was so proud of me
And from that day on, I knew what i wanted to be
