You are too kind
I don’t know why
I’ll stay behind
And watch you fly
I’ll be fine
You can go
And as I watch you shine
I will glow

I wrote this back when I used to really think about the future and how my friendships would end up. I would get sad when I would think about how my friends and I would all end up separating at some point. But I thought that when we go our separate ways, I'll be happy when they become successful.
