Selflessness
Leaves leaves falling from the trees
I bet it was because of the big breeze
I noticed the elderly people needed some help
Too bad nobody was there to call with a yelp
So I stopped what I was doing to see with what my heart felt
I found myself with my brother walking over to spare a hand
Considering the elderly people wouldn't understand
I tucked my sleeves and away I went
To find out how I felt like a champ
I put the bag full of leaves up on the curb
And to discover the trash man came without disturb
The leaves were gone in a blink of the eye
And deep down I knew I was a selfless guy
