Friend or Enemy?
I've been with everyone,
not figuratively, I mean it.
You've loved me and hated me,
Pushed me back,
and brought me in again.
When I'm with you,
you have fun,
But there are always consequences.
You know you should stay away,
but you let me sneak closer.
When I'm not with you,
things get done.
You really are better without me.
I drag you away from the current task,
delaying each and every one.
People really do keep their enemies
closer than their friends.
Or do they?
I am procrastination.
