The Mountain Top

High above the rest,
The sight in front of me makes me feel blessed,
Whilst sitting atop the mountain peak.
High above the rest,
Nothing is compressed,
And life is meek.
The stunning view,
So beautiful, but hard to get to,
Stands out between the trees.
The stunning view,
The wildlife is not subdued,
And the air is comfortable with the breeze.
The mountain top, ever so striking,
Could, without a doubt, appeal to anyone’s liking,
And all the while, keep them smiling.
