The breeze makes me shiver
          as it rushes its frostbitten breath against my skin.
The wet blades of grass sway
          as the wind brushes its hands through the vegetation.
The trees are leafless,
          standing tall like the Slender Man's fingers reaching for                     the sky’s soul.
The dark, depressing, mysterious clouds
          promise tears to be shed from above.
Below the pillows of black foam,
         a brightening sun-kissed sky

                gives hope for light and new life.
Birds are calling out to one another in symphony,
            all together being beautifully harmonic.
Unnatural sounds
            disrupt the beautiful songs of the Earth.
