Dying
Smooth soft
Skin now
Wrinkled and
Rough
Once beautiful brown
Hair now gray and dead.
Babies born,
People dying,
Never knowing when
Your mouth will
Take its final breath.
Your heart its last beat
Before you know
It all will be lost,
You will leave.
Those you love
Those you hate,
No one on earth
Knows the date,
At which fate
Will seek revenge.
And bring your
Life to an end.

I wrote this shortly after my Grandfathers death, I had wrote it in honor of him.
