Child of the Woods
She is wild.
She isn't afraid of the dark woods
But she fears the city lights .
They say she's insane
Just wanders in the forbidden places.
Mysterious as hell
But pure as Elixir.
She hates the day
But is in love with the cold nights.
She has no warmth
Her heart is as cold as ice.
She doesn't speak words
But howls and roars.
She doesn't walk
But flies and soars.
She jumps n leaps ,
Hangs on the old trees.
She is born of the branches,
Nurtured by the leaves,
Fragranced by the flowers,
Loved by the animals.
She isn't someone among us
But a child of the woods
Who's beyond what we've ever seen.
