Dance
The freedom to move without judgement
With all the attention on you
Just the sound of the music
Ready 1, 2
Remembering the movement like it’s a habit
Waiting in the wing
Preparing for your turn
On 3, 4 there’s a ding
The lights shining in your eyes
With the floor as smooth as a snake
All set up for you
5,6,7,8
As you begin to move the audience becomes silent
And they are mesmerized by your grace
Leaping and turning and dancing
With no mistake
