Day to Day
The sun begins to blossom out from the
Seemingly endless ocean,
Where the sea begins its continuous routines.
The half-egged shape crowning over the
Constant blue begins to create a yellow hue
Over the dull rocks on the brink of blue.
Soon drifters float in to eat up the peace and quiet
Before the rushers of day and play
Come to catch the waves throughout the evening.
Small children not knowing the difference between food or sand
They build castles that seem to never rise to
Their own expectations. But soon all of their
Little creations will be washed away when the sun goes back into its home
And gives the blue a place to sleep
