The Hen Who Told the Truth

What happened here hen,
would you tell me the truth?
Who made you this fine nest,
whoever did was the best.
Is it another animal on the farm,
for telling me would do no harm.
There is no place like home or in this case a nest,
home is the best place to rest.
Ah it was the rooster who made the nest,
thank you hen,
your truth is now my proof.
