A subtle shade of baby blue
Striving to be like everyone else.
To be bold.
To be different.
Trying to fit in.
Showing the fake side of me so people will accept me.
I am bright and bold.
But my bruises show.
Not physical but
Emotional.
They call me different.
Inside I hurt for what they have said to me and about me.
But Strip me bare and i’m just like you
Cold silver metal.
Able to be bent
Torn,
And broke.
I am not perfect.
But neither are you.
I am ashamed for who I am
Because you tell me I have to be like you.
A subtle shade of baby blue.
