When you left
I knew I'd have to start over
From the moment you walked out
I knew needed closure
Your friends were mine
simple moments
memories that were devine
but when you left so did they
simply in time
after all they were your friends who
simply pretended to be mine.
I wish I could say more
go back to the start
from meeting you to loving you to you
simply breaking my heart.
But I dont want to restart
I just wanted to move on
so in writing this I found closure
that I needed
becausee like you
I'm long gone.
