Trapped
Like a hungry bear; a lamb before the slaughter.
Falling
down a chute; no windows or doors.
Running
away from my fears; toward my fears.
Hiding
from those I am supposed to love; from myself.
Scared
that it will end badly.
Ambushed
by thoughts and words.
Panicked
of the future to come; of being judged by my past.
Terrified
that I will not make it out alive.
