When the Sky Turns Gray
The hot, toasty summer months are here.
However they are coming to a close,
Freezing winter is near.
It brings biting, blistering winds
And leaves the vegetation dead and lifeless.
The winter escorts the darkness to consume the long summer days,
And immures us in our homes.
However, we have to take in consideration
That the seasons comes and goes.
The buoyant summer will come again
As it hauls the luminous sun back into the day
And transports life into the trees and plants.
How I enjoy the fresh, mouth watering fruits and vegetables,
The tropical zephyr and the warm temperatures.
The torrid sun, it burns but I adore it.
Countless drops of refreshing rain caresses my skin.
We should relish the time we were given
Let's enjoy ourselves and start living.
