As I walked along,
I decided to look around,
To find if I belong,
And this is what I found:

This life passing by,
Of misery is full.
Try as we may,
We never reach our goals.

Tired eyes heavy,
Body well worn.
Rest is never found.
We cry and we mourn.

Rest is never found,
In such a dark place;
Current always strong,
Never finding space.

Thieves all around,
They steal and compile,
That which was got,
By hard work and toil.

No right or wrong,
Every area grey;
Do what you want,
Have it your way.

Years of hard work,
Gone in a flash;
Build it back up,
Down again with a crash.

Help another person,
And die by their hand,
Or keep to yourself,
And be slain on your land.

Hide and be found,
Be visible and die.
Suffer in silence,
Or suffer and cry.

Believe what you want,
But be prepared to bend.
And if you don't do that,
Prepare to meet your end.

Dark is the new light,
It is what we all prefer.
Stumble and fall down.
Keep going and endure.

Even if you try to get away,
  You'll only be brought back,
To be brutally mistreated,
Robbed, and attacked.

To the end of Life Street,
I walked along,
This world isn't fit for anyone,
Not even the strong.
