Is the sun behind the clouds?
Its powerful rays hidden?
             concealed? invisible?
Is this coldness from its absence?
             my heart? my soul?
Does it realize that
all creatures rely on its warmth?
Its brilliant glow providing life?
             happiness? existence?
When will the light intensify?
             soar? strengthen?
Is the sun behind the clouds?
