yet the boy was different
a passionate fellow
when the laugh of cruelty came along
he made it bellow

the girl loved to heal

the girl thought of it as her duty
the boy did it out of free will

she loved to see love live on
she wanted hate to forever be gone

he wanted to make sure he was in charge
he sinned at night, right before the crack of dawn

the girl lived a free spirited existence
but her love for the boy kept her physical freedom from her
at a horrible distance

she saw just what he was capable of doing
yet continued to love him
she just kept on swooning

he was the cruelest of people
he never let anything get in his way
but he never showed it to his love
because he knew he would have an awful price to pay

he was afraid of the beautiful maiden
leaving his care
but what he didn't know was
whenever he lashed out
she was there

she was there when he killed his own soul
and she stayed to try and make him a whole

his evil thoughts
were always getting caught

were the moon and the sun

one brought along boredom
the other brought fun

one was a knife
the other was a cloth
