closed shut MAG

  Guilt rests upon my shoulders.
As I lay in fear that they'll come for me eventually
They will find me and get me

As they question a closed mouth that will not respond
With an answer of their choice
I stare them in the eye with suspense

  My mind is racing
  Like a 200 lap race
The blood is pumping through my veins
like the oxygen in the air

  Wondering why I am here
  Wondering why I’m not free
To be able to be me

Trapped in this room filled with intensity
I sit in a cold chair
My feet planted on the floor like plants in the garden
My mouth is unable to speak words
  costing me my freedom

  The doors are shut
  The gates are closed
  No escape
  I’m locked in
  Closed shut
