Where Does The Storm Come From?
It came from the wind
This storm of terrible thoughts
A mix of misery, fear and incompetence
Sky blacker than night,
This plight seems to last forever
Where did it come from?
This ruinous rain
That tears away at the soul
Like sand on the beach
It came from the wind
But more than once gusts
Come to this coastal town
Down from the bony mountains of my mind
Down by the teary sea of my eye
This town, renowned for its academy
` But neglectful of its architect
Where did it come from?
This hurricane of hatred
That tosses debris at
It came from the wind
But the wind came from within
